The Quote
“Think of the solution, not the problem” – Terry Goodkind
My Thoughts
This quote is a simple statement, but it carries the weight of a nearly unspoken concept that some of humanity has forgotten in its wake. A legitimate problem, big or small, is something that should be solved, but it should only be done within the realm of lawful reason.
Sometimes people get wrapped up in how they feel about a problem. This can happen to the extent that the resolution is ignored in favor of championing the cause they have chosen, while others fall into a cycle of frustration that leads to anger because their solution is not being heard.
Vent or complain all you want; as far as I am concerned, people will do whatever they want to do, but if you truly want a problem to honestly be resolved, you not only need to provide a solution but also commit to putting that solution into action.
What has nearly been forgotten is that when you resolve a problem or issue, it has to be more than talked about; it should be put into practical use. More often than not by the person who has solved the problem. Living the solution to a problem involves consistent effort, and the sad part is that not nearly enough people are willing to practice what they works, even when they are strong enough to do so. Until next time, I am Nolan… Ex Tenebris.
